This Data Deletion Policy explains how users may request deletion of their FlorA Plant Tender account and associated data. This policy complements the FlorA Plant Tender Privacy Policy.
1. How to request deletion
You may request deletion of your FlorA Plant Tender account and associated data at any time by:
- In the app: Go to [Settings > Account > Delete Account].
- By email: Contact us at hello@floraplantcare.com with the subject line “Delete My FlorA Account.”
You do not need to reinstall the FlorA app to request deletion. If you contact us by email, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
2. Data we delete
When you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your FlorA Plant Tender account, including:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Plant names
- Plant or device location information
- FlorA device information associated with your account
- App settings, preferences, and related account data
Deleting your account may prevent your FlorA Plant Tender device and app from working as intended.
3. Data we may retain
We may retain limited information only when necessary for legitimate reasons, such as security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, backup integrity, or enforcing our agreements.
We may also retain information that has been anonymized or de-identified so that it no longer identifies you.
4. Timing
We will process deletion requests within a reasonable time after verifying the request. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being deleted in the ordinary course of business.
5. Service providers
If we have shared your information with service providers that help operate FlorA Plant Tender, we will take reasonable steps to request deletion of your associated data from those providers.
